Frequently Asked Questions

We want you to feel comfortable and confident coming into our office, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have. Below are some of the most frequently asked questions and our answers. If you have additional questions, please reach out to us via the "Contact Us" page.

Can you help with headaches?

Typically, yes, chiropractic care often helps lessen the frequency or severity of headaches, especially if they have a musculoskeletal component (there is a lot of muscle tension in the neck or upper back, misalignment of the spine in those regions, or scar tissue or adhesions present). Headaches are often caused by a lot of different factors including dehydration, too much/little caffeine, lack of sleep, poor diet, medication, etc. A lot of times getting adjusted is enough to bring your body into a more balanced state so headaches are not as prevalent!

What type of adjustments do you do?

The chiropractors are trained in a variety of adjustment styles, and we strongly feel there is not one perfect type of adjustment for everyone. Different bodies respond well to different techniques. We will find what works best for you and your body. We offer hands on manual adjustments where you might hear clicking, popping, or cracking. We offer table-assisted drop adjustments. Or you might prefer an activator or instrument-assisted adjustment where we use the “clicker” for a very light adjustment.

I’ve heard that once you go to a chiropractor you have to keep going back forever! Is this true?

The real answer is that NO, this is not true. However! Hopefully you will feel so good and notice such big changes that you will WANT to keep coming back! We truly feel that even if a person had just one good adjustment in their life, they are much better off than if they had never gotten adjusted!

How many times do I have to come? I went to a chiropractor once that wanted me to sign up for an expensive care plan.

We are a visit to visit clinic and do not offer care plans. How many times it takes to experience symptom relief can vary greatly depending on what is going on. You are coming to us for our experience and expertise so we will give recommendations for a treatment schedule, but your care is always up to you, and we are eager to guide you on figuring out the best course of care for you and your life.

Do you do Webster for pregnancy?

Yes! Both Dr. Hannah and Dr. Amber are certified in Webster Technique through the ICPA ( We do a full sacral analysis and correction and will do the extended Webster protocol to be sure your bones, muscles, and ligaments are balanced for pregnancy care!

Do you do massages?

Although we do not offer massages, we tend to do a lot of muscle work during an adjustment visit. By releasing or stretching the muscles it helps the body “hold” the adjustment longer and often helps patients respond to care faster.
