If I go to a chiropractor once, do I have to keep going back?

Patients often come to us at their first visit worried that by starting care they are stuck with seeking chiropractic care forever and that is simply not true! When you start chiropractic care we are not setting something in motion that is a lifelong commitment. You are not obligated to keep going back to the chiropractor.

Of course, as chiropractors we believe everyone would benefit from getting chiropractic care throughout their lives, but it is not required. We know that you will feel so good after an adjustment that you will WANT to keep coming back; but it will not be essential to do so.

Just like going to the dentist or the gym, once or a few visits is typically not enough. It usually takes regular visits spread over a period of time to undo years of misalignment and tension that have built up. However, even getting adjusted just once in your life will help your body and spine function better (of course we hope you can come more than just once though)!

We like to see patients leave every adjustment feeling better than they did when they came in. However, because of the regular stress and wear and tear of life, those misalignments can return and another adjustment will be needed.

At Vibrant Family Chiropractic & Wellness, we like to work together with you to come up with the best frequency and length of care to best help your body and achieve your health goals!
